The Bihar government has recently approved a plan to buy a large amount of land for setting up new factories and building essential structures. This decision was made by the Bihar Cabinet, led by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, on Wednesday. The plan involves acquiring 2,627 acres of land, costing about 812 crore rupees. This move aims to bring in more money from businesses and create more jobs for people in the state.
Why This Land Is Needed
The main reason for this large land purchase is to expand the network of industrial areas in Bihar. The government wants to encourage more businesses to invest in the state and help create more work opportunities for its people. Where The Land Will Be Acquired
The land will be acquired in several districts across Bihar. The largest single purchase of land, about 991 acres, will happen in Begusarai district, costing 351 crore rupees.
